Conversa Club is an online community for learners of European Portuguese, built around the belief that language is lived, not memorized.

We exist for the learners who have tried apps, worked through textbooks, and still don't feel confident speaking. For the heritage speakers who grew up hearing Portuguese at home but never quite made it their own. For the curious, the committed, and everyone who has ever thought:

I just need a real place to practice.

This is that place.

WHO WE ARE

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe fluency is not a destination you arrive at; it's something you grow into, slowly and steadily, through real use. That means conversation matters more than conjugation drills. That cultural understanding is not a bonus; it's fundamental. That mistakes are not setbacks; they are the work itself.

Our focus is not perfection, but participation. Not intensity, but consistency. Not someday fluency, but real language, used today.

Inside Conversa Club, members explore European Portuguese through structured mini-lessons, cultural connection, guided conversation, and shared curiosity. The community includes learners at every level - beginners finding their footing, intermediate speakers building confidence, and advanced learners reaching for nuance and naturalness.
