Conversa Club helps adult learners learn European Portuguese online through real conversation practice, cultural immersion, guided mini-lessons, and community support. If you want to speak Portuguese as it’s spoken in Portugal, our membership gives you a calm, practical way to build fluency.
The community gives you a place to actually use what you're learning without pressure, without judgment, and without the loneliness that so often comes with language learning on your own.

Conversa Club was founded by Sérgio Pedrosa, a dual US-Portuguese citizen who grew up between New England and Figueira da Foz, and has spent nearly two decades helping adult learners move from understanding European Portuguese to genuinely speaking it. He built this community because language learning should feel human: not overwhelming, not lonely, and not limited to a textbook.
